Vessel fuel represents by all accounts the highest expense for a shipping company. Fuel quality differs greatly among suppliers and often cannot be guaranteed. Supplying vessels with inadequate fuels results in economic, environmental, compliancy and operational costs for the shipping company. For all these reasons fuel testing and inspection of bunker fuels is critical for a shipping company.

Legal Framework
We are aware of the MARPOL Annex 6 legislation to which bunker fuel is subject. We also use accredited analysis methods according to ISO-8217.

We will provide you with the appropriate sampling kit complete with a sample container and analytic easy to read instructions.
Be careful! The sample should be taken via continuous drip.
For each analysis you need to send us the container filled with 1000 ml of fuel material. Delivery of this kit is included in our services. Oceantech - Eurofins will also provide transportation of all samples. We can collect the samples from your desired location or from a depot.
