The Portamarine™ is our dedicated Marine Level Indicator for use onboard and by Marine Servicing companies.
This equipment has been awarded Classification Society Approval, currently with RINA, and is acceptable equipment for testing all Marine based Fire Systems and by all IACS members.
The Portamarine is designed to cater for the majority of applications, capable of testing all major agents including CO2, FM200, NOVEC and other liquid agents up to about 300KG of agent.
Key features of this device include:
- Safer & Efficient Testing – Checking cylinder content by weighing is still common practice in some parts of the world. Using the Portamarine™ negates the need for removing & re-installing cylinders from their brackets to weigh, making the testing much quicker and far safer for both the vessel and servicing teams.
- Hands-Free operation – The unit hangs on a strap around the operators neck giving him two free hands to work with, to make the testing process easier.
- Multi-Banked Testing – Marine CO2 Fire Suppression systems are almost always stored in 2, 3 or 4 rows deep. As such, this package comes with a dedicated extension arm, allowing the operators to reach through and easily test the rear rows of cylinders.
